GO MEETING

Thursday, January 16, 2020

This is a reprint of the email sent to all Pilgrims on January 11

Good Afternoon Fellow Pilgrims:
Happy Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord, a site that you will be able to see in 74 days.  We will renew our Baptismal Vows there even as we contemplate the presence of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and thus the first revelation of our Triune God at that location some 2000 years ago.

We fly in 70 days.We have 51 people booked.  Full of interesting folks, each with similar goals but with unique backgrounds.
We have three priests, two who are spiritually leading and one who is joining us along with his sister in celebration of his priesthood.

I have scheduled a GO Meeting on THU Feb 20 at 7PM for those who are traveling from my home area, Fresno through the Bakersfield area — in Visalia at the St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church at 5049 W Caldwell Avenue, Visalia.   At that meeting there will be a powerpoint presentation, and the passing out of Flight tickets and Baggage Tags.  The meeting will last until all the questions that are general and apply to the group are answered.   I will then stay until all the private or personal questions are answered.   Plan on winding up around 9PM or so.     If you can not make it, send a family member or friend to take notes as some of the information will be unique to the group out of LAX.

For the five people traveling on EL AL who live in the Visalia and the Bakersfield area but still going out of LAX, please attend the meeting in Visalia.    Especially, if you plan on riding on the bus.   Thank you
For Zita Simoes, who lives further away from Visalia (than Fresno or Bakersfield),  and the other seven  traveling with your own flights from other than LAX — I will be in touch with you after the Feb 20 meeting to answer your specific questions and give you additional information pertinent to you.

I have received some great updates from our guide Christopher and from Jamal in Israel.  I am very excited about a couple possibilities.
Some of you may have some questions related to the recent events regarding Iran and what that means or doesn’t mean  for our Pilgrimage.   Please hold off on those questions until Thu Feb 20 when I will address the issue for the 43 group in the local group at one time, and the rest when we speak by phone thereafter.

May God continue to bless us all.I remain available at catholicjerry@gmail.com as well as my phone below.
