INSIDE THE OUTER CHAMBER OF THE TOMB OF JESUS, WHERE MARY MAGDALENE ONCE STOOD

SPECIAL AND UNIQUE FEATURES

☆  MASS INSIDE THE HOLY TOMB OF JESUS AND AT CALVARY

We will have Mass in the Tomb of Jesus, more than once during our stay in Jerusalem.   This is a unique privilege.  Less than 1% of Catholic pilgrims to the Holy Land ever have the chance to have Mass inside the Tomb.  The two chambers of the Tomb will hold our group.  Because we will likely have more than one Mass in the Tomb, everyone will have a chance to celebrate Mass in the Tomb.

Likewise, we will have Mass at Calvary, at the Eleventh Station where Jesus is nailed to the Cross.

Imagine receiving Holy Communion at the very location where He shed his blood.

_____

☆  EUCHARIST ADORATION AT GETHSEMANE

We will likely have an evening Hour of Adoration at Gethsemane, where Jesus asked his Apostles “Will you watch with me one hour.”  The Franciscans may open the church at night for our group.   It is an unspeakable privilege.

There will also be an opportunity for the faithful to participate in the Sacrament of Reconciliation  (confession) during this time.

_____

☆  HOLY ROSARY MYSTERIES

We will visit the actual sites that are part of the Mysteries of the Holy Rosary, and pray a decade for that mystery at the location where the mystery occured.

_____

☆  CANA WEDDING  VOW RENEWAL

All married couples will have the ability to renew Marital Vows at Cana, the site of the Wedding of Cana where Jesus performed his first miracle.  A very special ceremony for married couples.  A reception follows, and of course wine from Cana is available.

_____

☆  VISIT THE BAPTISMAL SITE OF JESUS

The historical place where John the Baptist baptized Our Lord was not always open to Pilgrims.  Now the actual site is under Israeli control and is available for visiting and reflection.

A most amazing opportunity to be present where the Trinity was first manifested to Israel.   We will renew Baptismal promises at the site.

_____

☆  FREE DAY!

We will have a free day in Jerusalem.  Most Pilgrims enjoy the ability to re-visit the Old City and shop for souvenirs, others visit non-religious sites such as Yad Vashem.  Still others go to other nearby places, maybe even to Bethany and visit Mary and Martha's house along with Lazarus’ tomb.

Most Pilgrimages are one or two days shorter than ours. We not only have full days, but we have a great opportunity to further explore or just relax on a Free day.
